As the Corporate Vice President of Sales, Scott Galus provides extensive financial and market analysis of potential business opportunities, strategies critical decision alternatives and financial risk assessments. Scott develops the annual Company financial budget, forecasts and Company Business Plan. He is also responsible for the development of program budgets and financial performance reporting.
Scott joined SES GS in 2009 as a Senior Business Analyst. Prior to this role, Scott spent over 10 years with SAIC starting as financial analyst supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in acquisition management, participation in Source Selection Evaluation Boards (SSEB) and congressional budget requests. His responsibilities spanning over a decade in the project control discipline saw Scott responsivities include cash flow forecasts, backlog, indirect rate structures, revenue recognition, pricing.
He was also a Business Unit Project Control Manager for the Athens C4I Program from 2006 to 2008 where he was accountable for budget development allocation, forecasting revenue and cash flow management among other responsibilities for a $300M IT security contract with the government of Greece. During his time at SAIC he also served as an Operations Project Control Manager, Project Control Analysis and Financial Analyst.
Scott was a dual major in Finance and Economics with a minor in mathematics at the University of New York at Brockport.
